Bethany began her professional journey by obtaining a Master's in Psychology. Her passion for understanding human behavior and helping people has uniquely positioned her to excel as a financial planner. By focusing on her clients' thoughts and actions, she’s able to ask insightful questions to understand their goals and priorities, building personalized strategies around them.
While she was working at a non-profit in DC, she had her son Sam and shortly after, decided to move back to Naperville in 2016 to join her father’s firm as an admin. Quickly realizing that being a financial planner entailed much more than just sales, Bethany took great interest in learning how to take a holistic approach to finances and creating lasting working relationships with clients, helping them through each life stage and milestone. She earned her insurance license, her Series 7, and her Series 66 in 2018 and is currently licensed and/or registered in 37 states. Most recently, Bethany has also been awarded the title of Credentialed Holistic Financial Coach issued by Columbia University's Coaching Center of Excellence in partnership with Equitable Advisors, LLC.
With a 7-year-old at home, Bethany takes great joy in assisting younger families in establishing their goals and preparing for the future. She also works extensively with clients nearing or planning for retirement to ensure they know what steps they need to take to reach their retirement goals. Her methods involve personalized tools, such as tax-advantaged wealth accumulation and risk management strategies, all aimed at bridging the gap between her clients' "here and now" and their "there and wow!"
Besides her son Sam, Bethany’s other animals are a black lab named Shadow, a yellow lab named Cat, and a cat named Lilac. She enjoys volunteering with Midwest Labrador Retriever Rescue, going to White Sox games, helping out in Sam’s classroom at Calvary Christian School, and arguing with Sam over who’s the boss of Weeks Financial.
